Alecto rolled her eyes at Draco's comment. "I'll be sure to write him a letter explaining exactly what happened Draco Malfoy. In fact, we have a meeting at your home. You are attending, aren't you? Maybe we can discuss it then?"She suggested, smirking slightly. She had no patience for the Malfoy boy, he was as weak as his father.
She smiled when she saw the discomfort on Tate Samuel Lopez's face. It meant that she had done her job correctly. She wanted to single out the people who were different. And this lesson was going to prove tough for some of them.
Alecto watched everybody sit down in their seats before she continued talking. "Our first class is quite simple. We are going to go over the basics and discuss what should or shouldn't be happening in my class." She announced, standing up straight. "There isn't much to say, and it has taken up most of the lesson just to get people to arrive on time. So....people will raise their hand when they wish to talk. They will not arrive late after this lesson, as it was your first we'll let it side. They will hand in homework when I set it and there will be no whining, complaining or moaning. Am I clear?" She asked, giving the class a moment to answer.
"Now. Your homework for this lesson is to write a 300 word essay on your own blood status. I want to know your heritage, your bloodline, Your purity. This means that no essay can be the same, and I will be able to tell if anything is copied. Those who fail to hand in homework that has been assigned to them, will lose house points. If it happens frequently, then a more severe punishment will have to be given."/b] She explained, ending with a confident smile, her hands on her hips. "Any questions?"
