Keziah's classroom was set up like an amphitheater. Desk were in a 3-tiered semicircle around two walls, and the corner opposite was raised to a small platform with a simple podium and a large floating chalkboard occupying the back of it. It had taken all morning for her to rearrange the classroom like she wanted, but she liked this setup best for lectures. She had a plan to make these lessons a bit more interesting then they were with the previous instructor, and more up to date. Most older student's would probably expect her to teach things like the goblin rebellion and such, but those things were becoming such ancient history that the books didn't even cover them anymore.
With a flick of her wand, words appeared neatly written on the board. "History of Hogwarts" That would be the subject of today's lesson. She had it all planned out. This term, they would study the magical schools all around the world, starting with their own. She was rather surprised at how few knew about the other schools, much less anything about them. Under that, she wrote "Good morning class. Please quietly find a seat and take out quills, ink, and parchment."
"There." She said to herself with a small satisfied smile. The only thing left was to pass out the work they would be completing during her lecture. She wanted to know they were listening. She was placing the worksheets facedown on every desk when the first student arrived. She smiled and greeted the student. "Good morning dear, Please find a seat wherever you'd like."

((OOC: Professor Steel is generally very soft spoken, but she should have an intimidating feel about her. The word 'classroom' in the first sentence should give an idea of how the class is setup. The worksheet will just have a few questions on it, and I will post all questions on the worksheet in my next post as she 'goes over' the questions before her lecture.
