Overall Appearance: Professor Flitwick is, of no secret what so ever, very short. This comes by blood, from a distant half goblin ancestor. He has a very round body, as well as a very round face. He can usually be seen wearing the finest apparel, and he always keeps his wand tight in his pants. While he does not have a threatening appearence, he knows how to put up a good fight. Fillius also has large hands for his small body, and has an English accent, which drowns out any goblin accent he might have. He has a small mustache, that he always keeps looking nice. One would call him quite bulgy, with his round appearence.

Personality: Fillius Flitwick has a very distinctive personality. He is easy going when teaching a class, but at the same time is the living stereotype of Ravenclaws. He is usually in a good mood, especially when any kind of music is on, and is an open supporter of Dumbledor. Although, he is also judging when he needs to be, and can not stand anything evil or anything Imbecile like. He is usually the one in the room directing the music, but refusing to dance. Flitwick is also a very sarcastic person, when ever he feels he needs to be, though he tries not to be, since it is already hard for someone of his height to gain respect. Now, this isn't to say he hasn't. He is a very respected and well liked member of the Wizarding community.

He studied magic at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, presumably after purchasing his wand from Ollivanders, and was sorted into Ravenclaw House. During the sorting Filius Flitwick had a hatstall with the Sorting Hat, debating between putting him in Ravenclaw or Gryffindor. The Sorting Hat ultimately chose the former. In later life he learned that this was a circumstance that occurred to Minerva McGonagall as well, which the two professors found amusing as had the Sorting Hat chosen Gryffindor for Filius and Ravenclaw for Minerva they may have exchanged positions as Heads of House. At some point, he asked the Grey Lady about the whereabouts of Rowena Ravenclaw's Diadem, which was rumoured to grant the wearer wisdom. However, she denied revealing the information.
