Overall Appearance: Tonks is a Metamorphmagus, so her appearance varies highly according to mood and situation. She enjoys growing animal noses, usually just for general amusement. She has a pale, heart shaped face, and has a rather eclectic sense of style.
Personality: A very bubbly and vivacious person, Tonks makes friends easily, and is likeable to most everyone she meets. Tonks usually uses her talents as a metamorphmagus to amuse people, however loses control of it when distressed or angry. She is not very good at household spells, and frequently would break dishes when trying to help Ms. Weasley at number 12 grimmauld place. Tonks was a huge supporter of Dumbledore, and as a member of the order of the phoenix would follow his instruction even if it led to her own death. Tonks also hates the name Nymphadora, and goes solely by Tonks, or “Dora”.
Likes: Tonks was very fond of most of the Order, particularly her husband Remus Lupin.

History: Tonks was the only child of Ted and Andromeda Tonks. She attended Hogwarts from 1984 to 1991, and was sorted into Hufflepuff. Professor Sprout, the head of Hufflepuff house didn’t make her a prefect her fifth year because she “lacked the ability to behave properly”. Despite being a bit of a rebel, she did well enough in school to become an Auror after leaving hogwarts. She trained for this position under Moody, and qualified after three years of training in 1994. In 1995 she joined the Order of the Phoenix, and worked undercover for them guarding the department of mysteries. She was one of the Order's advanced Guard used to transport Harry to number 12 Grimmauld place by broomstick. She was also part of the force went to rescue them at the Department or Mysteries, where she was knocked unconscious by Bellatrix Lestrange, her aunt.
It was during this time with the order that she met, and fell in love with Remus Lupin, however he felt he was too old and dangerous for her, and broke her heart. Tonks as a member of the auror task force sent to guard hogwarts, and after the attack on the astronomy tower publicly declared her love for Lupin. They were quietly married in the summer of 1997.
