History: Luke was born in Yorkshire to Joseph and Marissa Becker in 1980. He was their only son, and twin girls followed two years later. Luke took his role as big brother seriously, well, after telling his mom he didn't want her to give him siblings. Luke wasn't spoiled, but he did like having attention on him as a toddler, always trying to get his mom or dad's attention. It was safe to say Lukas Becker drove his parents nuts for a while there. As Luke got older he calmed down a bit, but he still got himself into trouble pretty regularly. Marissa took him to a psychiatrist when he was 8 and was told he might have had ADHD, but she refused to put him on medication. Instead, his father encouraged him to play sports, and gave him his first play broom. Luke became very interested in Quidditch, but since he was in a muggle school he also got into muggle football.
Luke had always been a bit of a troublemaker in school. He got bored easily and would drive his teachers insane. Around the time he first showed signs of magic he got frustrated with one of his teachers when she yelled at him and a friend for mocking her and he turned the woman's hair bright, acid green. Luke's parents weren't impressed that he did that to a teacher, but they were proud that he was a wizard anyway. When Luke got his letter, he wasn't surprised since his parents had told him and the twins all about Hogwarts and what to expect. He met a boy in Diagon Alley while they were in line to pay for their school books and they hit it off. Luke and Tate became friends pretty fast, and they sat on the train together that first time.
Luke was sorted, and he was hoping that Tate would be in the same house with him. He wasn't disappointed. The boys were practically inseparable. Luke had dated a Ravenclaw girl in 4th year, but he wasn't as interested in her as she was in him. It felt wrong when she kissed him or held his hand, but he stuck with her until 5th year. He saw her kissing another boy and that gave him an excuse to break up with her. He said the main reason was her cheating, but also that they rarely saw each other since she was always with her own friends. Luke realized he wasn't into girls at that point. None of Emily's friends seemed to like him and even she didn't seem interested past their first few dates, and he was happy to break it off with her. He focused on Quidditch to get over her, since he'd just joined the house team.
Luke told Tate how he felt about him in the summer before their 6th year. Asking him out was nerve-wracking, more than even telling his parents he was gay, which they accepted. Tate agreed to their first date, which wasn't anything that special, just a picnic in Hogsmeade, but they dated two more times before telling each other how they felt. Luke is beyond worried about his parents since they're both aurors, but he's determined to join them once he graduates.
