He has thin grey hair and quivery jowls. Skinny-ankles, Filch usually wheezes and shuffles when walking. He has knobbly hands and, whenever he gets the flu, a bulbous and unusually purple nose. Filch usually wears a brown coat, although on special occasions he wears a moldy-looking tailcoat or an ancient black suit and tie reeking of mothballs. At night, while not patrolling the corridors, Filch wears an old flannel dressing gown.
Personality: Filch has an extremely unpleasant personality. Despite working at a school, Filch seems to hate children, and he is universally despised by all the students, and some members of staff as well. Filch is quite sadistic and delights in dolling out punishments and is always lamenting that he is not allowed to use corporal punishment on students. Filch likes to have the castle neat and tidy, and is infuriated when students make a mess with potion ingredients, or forgot to wipe their feet. He is very domineering and controlling, as demonstrated by the many time he viciously interrogates students about what they were doing when they are simply wandering around in what he thinks is a suspicious manner.

History: Argus Filch was born to a Half-blood mother and Pureblood father but turned out a Squib. He was raised with loving parents but when he never received his letter from Hogwarts he was disowned and sent to live in an orphanage.
Filch grew steadily more and more bitter as his years in the orphanage continued, he grew to hate children and wizards alike. Staying in touch with the wizarding world he managed to get a job as caretaker at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry where he is today.
