Appearance- Matt likes to wear mainly dark colors consisting of blacks and greys. He keeps his uniform in shabby conditions, always unbuttoning and untucking his shirt. Always finding ways to try and go past the school uniform rules without crossing the line. Matt really despises light colours and would never ever be seen wearing clothes with those colours.
Height: 5,11
Hair: Dirty blonde. Long and slightly wavy which covers his eyebrows and sometimes his eyes if it's brushed funny. This means Matt doesn't regularly brush it, leaving it messy and untamed
Eyes: A very dark shade of brown, making them look like black pits with no emotion. Big and round with bags underneath them.
Overall Appearance: Matt's favorite thing to wear are his chunky boots and his long black duffle coat, giving him a grunge vibe. His disposition is mainly solemn and weary with a frown never failing to appear upon his surprisingly light pink lips. Matt gets repeated bags underneath his eyes caused by late nights staying up feeling stressed or angry. His skin is a paste pale white, almost resembling a lonely wandering ghost. Personality: Matt is very mentally disturbed and sees death as something peaceful and good, this may be due to his abusive upbringing, this results in therapy classes after school hours and on weekends occasionally but he likes to think that he's getting better. He isn't shy at all and will always voice his opinions.Matt pleasures in teasing and being spiteful to people in ways that can be verbally and physically, often picking fights with older students and spending a lot of time in detention. He thinks love is beautiful and sacred and deserves to be treated with commitment, although most quiet and shy girls are too afraid to approach Matt. He's been rumored that he's done bad things before he came to Hogwarts, shocking his grandmother when he got the letter.
Likes: Matt loves listening to music and sometimes writing songs in his spare time, it gets rid of the stress and depression that he occasionally feels. Matt likes to think about dark and psychotic things, thinking up ways and strategies to kill people, although he keeps this entirely to himself and his therapist. He loves magical creatures, mostly thestrals and centaurs.
Dislikes: Nearly all students at his school, he has been nothing but trouble from the start and likes to be by himself instead. He utterly hates Harry Potter and his trio, not wanting anything to do with them. Ever. He doesn't have much viewings on other blood statuses and doesn't care. Matt despises his parents and are extremely glad they are no longer around.
Strengths: Matt doesn't exceed too well in school and is in fear that he may have to stay back a year. He is good at performing spells, he just doesn't show it in class very well...
Weaknesses: Most of his classes, he spends half of them being sent out and stood outside sulking. Love, Matt is so alone and acts as if he doesn't mind being alone but he truly wants to have a girlfriend one day. It scares and horrifies him that he'll die alone.
History: Matt grew up in a big mansion in muggle England with his two wealthy parents Jessica and Harold, both exceeded and graduated from Hogwarts. Being both Pureblood this was expected. When Matt was born his father called him 'The Devils Child' all he could see was red with him, meaning that Matt didn't spend much time with his father during his childhood. His mother adored him but grew apart from him when his father didn't return home after work one day, he was unfortunately found dead on the street. Jessica weeped and mourned over her husbands death and blaming it on Matt. Agreeing with him being 'The Devil's Child'. She would lock him up in his room for hours hearing him wail and scream without any food.
Going to his private school was a lot worse, getting into trouble. Matt was said to have pushed a students down a staircase, nearly strangling another to death and holding ones hand on the radiator. He was removed immediately, he just wanted to be noticed by his mother and not ignored. He just didn't know how to show her. By the age of 10 it got worse, his mother wouldn't feed him at all, she'd constantly bully him, calling him names such as 'disappointment' and 'demon'. Matt had enough, he didn't want to go through it anymore, he didn't want to spend the rest of his childhood being bullied and not learning about magic. One night he sneaked downstairs and went over to the log fire and pulled a heavy log out with the fireplace tongs, he dropped it into the floor and fled his house. That night Matt lost his entire house and his mother.
Matt went to live with his grandmother who was probably the best thing about all the hell he's been through, she looked after him and cherished him, making him feel like the most important child ever even though she knew about his unfortunate history. He was accepted to Hogwarts and honestly, didn't want to go. But he had to.
