He keeps his hair tied back and away from his face. Appearance is everything, so he doesn't usually look unkempt or messy.
Personality: Sebastian is very cold and callous towards most people, though with his friends (and privately, his sister) he can be nice when he wants to be. He has to be fairly strict with Christiane since if they slip up and humans find out they're vampires, their father could be killed and they could be kicked out of the school. In private, he is nicer to her than he is in public. He is mean and domineering to her sometimes, but he'd kill to save his sister if it came down to it.

Sebastian was born in 1979 in Transylvania to Pierre Montgomery and Annabelle St. Clair. He was the first born son and his father took the child under his wing almost as soon as he was born. Pierre was a pureblooded, but Annabelle hadwizarding roots in her family, so her son as a result was half and half. Two years later Sebastan's mother gave birth to a girl. This disappointed his father, who wanted him to have a brother, but Sebastian wasn't really bothered much. Sebastian grew fairly close to his sister, but their father made it clear that Christiane wasn't as important as his brother was.
When Sebastian was 7, his mother ran off with a werewolf, leaving Pierre and their children. Sebastian and Christiane were forbidden to speak about their mother, and Pierre started grooming his son for when he would take over as King of the Vampires. Sebastian started to act as cruel to his sister as their father acted towards her, and believed him when he said that females were inferior. He was still close to his sister, and looked after her when their father ignored her. Sebastian and his family were chased out of Transylvania and relocated to a castle in North Wales with their servant, Renfield. As such, they are not registered with the Ministry and it is vital that no one finds out that he and his sister are halfbreeds. Sebastian knows the Death Eaters are recruiting vampires, but he respects them even less than he respects the Ministry of Magic. Sebastian and Pierre both drilled it into Christiane's head that they were not to expose themselves at Hogwarts, lest they get kicked out of the school.
They almost DID get exposed in Christiane's second year when she killed a boy who had been mocking her. While he approved that she had killed the boy, he was worried because their father would be mad, and he was. Christiane had nearly exposed them, and Pierre told Sebastian to keep a closer eye on her. The students who witnessed the attack had their memories wiped, and Sebastian started keeping a much closer eye on his sister, trying to protect her from their father as well since he was livid when he found out. He kept her by his side, letting her sit with him and his friends. He keeps a tight leash on her to prevent a repeat performance of the attack and she is to go to him if she is bullied again. Sebastian doesn't think any of the staff knows about their halves, though he wouldn't be surprised if at least one of them does.
