Brooklynn Emerson was born in a small town in the middle of England on August 8, 1986 to two loving Muggle parents, Nicholas and Krista Emerson, who were a year into their marriage. She grew up like any normal child, unless you counted the strange things that happened around her from an early age. She was a happy little girl with the best parents she could ask for. She always did well in school, and had lots of friends.
But then, on one fateful day in July, 1996, strange men in white masks invaded the town, killing people with weird sticks and flashes of green light, and setting houses on fire. Brooklynn and her family managed to get out in time, and fled the village, unable to save anyone or anything except the sooty clothes on their backs.
The Emersons moved to another town called Godric’s Hollow shortly after the massacre to start fresh. Brooklynn, being young, wasn’t bothered for long, and quickly made new friends in her new neighborhood. She found that even more bizarre occurrences took place in her new neighborhood, including a statue that apparently only looked like a man, a woman, and a baby for her, and a destroyed house that no one else could see. When she told her parents of these things, they looked at her as if she had four heads, and later that night she overheard them contemplating bringing her to see a doctor to see if the trauma from the massacre was getting to her head. She never told anyone else after that.
