One night, when he was 6, he ran away from the orphanage only to be kidnapped by a wizarding family who was unable to have children of their own. At first, he thought he would be happy there, but soon, they started to treat him badly, telling him he was worthless and that they should take him back to the orphanage. When he got his letter, it was a relief to get away from the ones he now called his parents.
