Height: 7’ from head to fin
Hair: Enya has brown, slightly wavy hair. It is long, reaching slightly past the middle of her back, and gets slightly lighter in color at the tips. She usually leaves it free to drift in the water behind her, but it will sometimes be braided.
Eyes: Enya’s eyes are hazel, somewhat narrow, and very slightly upturned.
Overall Appearance: Enya has an oval-shaped face and normally wears a cheerful or mischievous expression, her thin lips tugged up in a smirk or a grin. She is skinny from all the swimming she does, and is very long because of the addition of a tail. Her tail is a bright turquoise color with just a hint of purple, with scales that reflect the light from the surface, making her tail seem to shine.
Personality: Enya is a very free-spirited, self-confident mermaid. She loves to have fun and can’t swim in place for long before she wants to go somewhere else. She is very eager and fast-paced. She loves exploring and finding new things and new places. She is loud and cheerful, and can be very stubborn, which can be a good thing or a bad thing. She is daring, and sometimes doesn’t know when she’s going too far with something. She is fascinated by the humans at the school, and can often be found by their glass tunnel, waiting and hoping a student would find their way in there. She is brave enough to swim close to shore, peeking her head above water for short periods of times to observe the humans on the shore. She is very close to her adoptive sister and best friend, Myrah, and will do anything for her and their adoptive mother.

History: Enya's unknown parents were very young, immature, and irresponsible. Because of this, when her mother's eggs were laid, they did not keep them in a safe enough place, and all of the eggs got scattered in the current, now at the mercy of the other creatures in the lake. Many of the eggs were probably eaten.
Luckily, Myrah, another 'orphaned' mermaid, found the egg that contained Enya and gave it to her adoptive mother, Magis. They took Enya in, caring for her in her egg until she hatched on June 24, 1981.
Enya has called Magis and Myrah family ever since, and she never found out what happened to her as an egg, what happened to her parents, or whether she has any surviving siblings. Despite this, she was a rather carefree mermaid, and she still doesn't think about it very often.
