Character Name: Lark Rosseau.
Date of Birth: April 17.
Age: Seventeen.
Occupation: Student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Hair: Lark's hair is a chestnut brown color and curls tightly, giving off the look of a loose afro. It is cut quite short, reaching just above her shoulders.
Eyes: Lark's eyes are chocolatey brown, often described as doe-like.
Height: Lark measures at about five feet and six inches
Overall Appearence: Lark can be most easily described as a tall POC girl with delicate features. Her eyelashes are long and sweep over her high cheekbones, making her brown doe-eyes appear even larger. Her narrow jaw slopes into a sharp chin which brings more attention to her full lips than she'd like, and she also has a button nose. Her skin is a rich sepia color, due to her african descent, and her legs are oddly long in comparison to her torso which causes her to be rather uncoordinated. She is more often than not well-kept; eyebrows tamed and skin clear. She tries to make everything look as flawless as possible, other than her hair. Her unruly curls hardly ever look manageable, mostly because they're not and she's given up trying.
Likes: Lark loves learning in general, but other than this she loves to read, write, draw, paint, and compete in wizard chess.
Dislikes: Lark doesn't dislike much other than intentionally ditzy people, and people who think school is stupid. Yeah, she does seem really fun at parties.
Strengths: Lark's biggest strength is school in general, but her highest marks would be charms, transfiguration, and potions.
Weaknesses: Lark's biggest weakness in school would be herbology, as she has no green thumb whatsoever, and out of school it would be her lack of coordination or her sharp tongue.
Overall Personality: Lark is an artistic, intelligent soul; not a care in the world larger than her canvas and not a problem more complex than an Amortentia potion. Very rarely is she ever seen without a drawing utensil tucked behind her ear or without a textbook nestled into the crook of her elbow. As a quick thinker and a naturally curious girl, Lark had always had an interest in exploring. Living in the neighbourhood she did diminished this however, so she spent most of her time in her room alone, reading and imagining herself in different worlds. Discovering she was a witch was the best thing to happen to her, supplying her with both new learning opportunities and a change of scenery. Though most of her traits would hint she were introverted, Lark's rather the opposite. She loves the outdoors and people, and frankly doesn't lack any social skills, take away her sharp wit trait. She tends to be too sarcastic or quick to make a smart remark, and can often find people disliking her because of this. She's very calm and patient, however, and if she gets sick of someone or something, she can lose her temper. overall, Lark is a loving, creative person who may have a bit of a sharp tongue at times or say the wrong things, but at the end of the day, she’s just a massive nerd who has a heart of gold.
Parents: Lark's mother is a muggle named Rebecca Rosseau, aged 38. Her father is unknown, however he is a wizard
Siblings: Lark's only sibling is her younger brother, Christopher, who is fifteen.
Other Family Members: None.
History: Lark’s life has been quite average, nothing being of extreme importance other than her father’s absence and her discovery of being a witch. Lark was born in Manchester, England to Rebecca Rosseau, who was quite young at the time. She had met a lovely boy in a pub, and one thing led to another, and suddenly the gorgeous man was gone and Rebecca was left with a positive pregnancy test. The child was unexpected, though not unwanted. Lark grew up always feeling wanted and as though she belonged, although she didn’t have much. Living in a rather dangerous neighbourhood with little wealth, she tended to take nothing for granted, always doing her best and striving for nothing less than perfect. She did her best in everything because she knew it was a privilege, and she was always the top in her classes in her muggle school. Her mother hadn’t even known of the wizarding world until Lark’s Hogwarts letter came in the mail. Lark had always known she was different, and she was overjoyed. Rebecca had grown up in a strict Catholic family so she was rather hesitant, but seeing as the schooling was free and in a safer place, she was overjoyed as well. Lark’s brother, Chris, was disappointed that he hadn’t been blessed with the same abilities, however, he was excited for his sister.
Lark’s Hogwarts years flew by, and her grades were always relatively high. Growing up in a muggle community and then discovering she was a witch had impacted her learning greatly. She was so intrigued by everything to do with magic, and studied in most of her free time. She passed her O.W.Ls with flying colors, and ended with some of the best grades in her year.
Extras: Lark is one sixth Veela, from her father's side.
Your Name: Chasnie; if it's too difficult I go by Chaz or Rae
