Overall Appearence: Ian is modestly good-looking with a smoldering gaze and a defined jaw line. He is tall and well-muscled but not overly. He likes styling his hair up and is constantly messing with it. He prefers muggle clothing over wizarding robes and during the hours that school is not in session, he can be found wearing a variety of flannels, jumpers, sweaters and jackets. He has an adorable dimpled smile that gives off boyish charm. He has a good-natured face and is quite a cutie-pie.
Likes: Ian loves adrenaline rushes and will often do stupid, not-thought-out things that often result in injury. He loves animals and they love him. He like muggle hobbies, which he has been made fun of for, but he likes it. He like skateboarding and auto-maintenance along with lockpicking and sleight-of-hand magic tricks
Dislikes: Ian can't stand morning and will always sleep in to the last second, often causing him to miss breakfast and be late to classes. He hates tests and studying with a burning passion.
Strengths: Although Ian is proficient in many areas of magic (ie Potions, DADA, and Charms) his true talents lie in Care of Magical Creatures. He is always number 1 in that class and goes above and beyond.
Weaknesses: Ian is no good whatsoever at Transfigurations or Arithmancy, he can't for the life of him keep track of the time and has simply awful handwriting.
Overall Personality: When you first meet him, Ian gives off a calming aura and, on the outside, he is usually composed and serene while always keeping an internal monologue that uses words that could make sailors embarrassed. He can be playful and mischievous when he wants, though it is not very often, when he wants to it shows. Though he isn't fond of studying, he loves to learn and picks things up quickly. He has erratic and unpredictable mood swings, and is very stubborn. He likes experimenting with different things and will often go for random runs in order to clear his mind. He is guarded at first, but if you get to know him, he is kooky and fun to be around. He has a more subtle humor and wit about him, preferring a less direct approach. He is rarely serious and can never stay on the same topic for long. He loves his family very much and is always looking out for other people's welfare.
Parents: Maven Blackwell (46) and Sierra Blackwell nee Lonnie (44) married 25 years prior, as s spur-of-the-moment decision. They have never regretted it. They are both passionate, dedicated people and have been committed to each other from the very beginning. Sierra was muggle who was brought up believing in magic, so it wasn't very hard for her to believe her new husband when he revealed that he was a pure-blooded wizard from a prominent family. Maven and his family were never a part of the pure-blood supremacy and, though they were prominent, well-known and well-respected, they were never rich. He is a mid-level Auror married to a muggle paramedic. They have been offered many chances over the years to advance their careers through trickery, but have never taken them, preferring the honest route. They have never looked back.

Where was your character during the battle of Hogwarts?: Ian was evacuated with most of the other underage kids and he spent the remainder of the battle comforting those who were having breakdowns or panic attacks.
History: Ian was born and raised in America, as were his parents and most of his siblings. However, a job
offered to Maven moved their family to England when Ian had just turned ten, before he started school, so his entire education has been at Hogwarts while his older brother Daniel went to Ilvermorny. Even though they have strong magical ancestry, only 3 out of the 7 Blackwell children have inherited magic, including Liliana, who is a Metamorphmagus. And though there are only 3, they are all exceptionally powerful in their own rights. They lived on a small ranch in Oregon, where they raised goats, horses, cattle, pigs, sheep, and rabbits. Ian grew up around animals so this cultivated his love of them, and how he has a penchant for attracting stray animals to him, magical and non-magical, big and small alike. Animals have always taken well to him, and he has never once been the victim of an animal attack. When he was six, a lion that had escaped from a nearby zoo walked up to him, they played together for 3 hours. Over the years he has brought home a variety of animals, including, but not limited to, a grizzly bear, various snakes, a South American tree frog, a penguin, an orangutan, a Capuchin monkey, a wolf, an elk, a duck, and a baby panda bear.
Being from the Great Mixing Pot, where blood status doesn't matter much, and having had been raised in a household with no prejudices whatsoever, Ian has never understood the blood supremacy in England. He doesn't get what your blood status has to do with anything, and he has never been able to understand it, no matter how hard he tries. Ian has always treated everybody fairly, offering tutoring sessions to everyone. Daniel was a part of the Order of the Phoenix, and was horribly injured during the Battle. Ian was always at St. Mungos by his side along with the rest of his family. Though he moved to England at a young age, Ian has never lost his American accent, and continuously refuses to disguise it. Though Ian has a great relationship with animals of all kinds, insects are another matter. Ever since a young age, bees, flies, moths, and all insects seem to target him. They hate him and he hates them. He has been attacked by swarms of bees no less then 7 times. Due to this, he has developed a fear for them, he will not be in the same room as one. He has no problem with spiders and other arachnids.
